Description

• This is a fun part time job for people who enjoy people and wine
• Set up your own schedule
• Tastings take place in established retail accounts
• All supplies are provided
• Tastings are usually 2-3 hours in the afternoon or evening. Ideally during busy shopping periods
• Ambassadors are paid mileage ($.62.5 per mile) to the event and then hourly at the tasting
• Must be 21+ years of age
• 30% off wine and retail within our Tasting RoomsAreas within Iowa we are looking to fill include:
  – Des Moines Metro
  -Dubuque, Maquoketa areas
  -Bloomfield, Ottumwa, Oskaloosa
  -Ames, Boone, Jefferson, Perry
  -Fort Dodge, Webster City
  -Oelwein, Fayette, Decorah
  -Iowa Falls

• Assist with wine and cider tastings
• Cash register operations
• Light duty cleaning and restocking
• Weekend positions available. We work around your schedule. Ideally, candidates can work a minimum of 2-3 shifts a month in the summer months through December.
  • Some Friday nights (5p-11p)
  • Saturday shifts (varying between day or occasional night shifts)
    • Day (9:45a-630p)
    • Nights (5p-11p)
  • Sundays (11 or 12a – 530p)
• Ideally we are looking for individuals who are 21+ years of age but we will consider individuals who are a minimum of 18 years of age.

Description

We are excited to be partnering with the Cedar Rapids and Des Moines Farmers Markets again this year.  We are looking for individuals with great customer service skills and willing to get up EXTRA early on Saturday mornings.  Ideally, we are looking to fill 1-2 people to help with these events. Requirements:

• Must be albe to lift heavy boxes of wine (40#)
• Able to drive to Des Moines or Cedar Rapids in a company van
• Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• Can set up a 10×10 tent and tables (after training)
• Strong conversational skills with the public to encourage tasting
• Must be able to do simple math to calculate orders and handle a simple cash register system.
• Candidates must be 21+ years of age to apply.
• Markets are Saturday mornings, May – October.
• These shifts typically start around 445a-5a and end around 2p-3p on Saturdays.
