This light, crisp, medium-bodied dry white wine is made exclusively from the Seyval Blanc grape. Amberglow offers light herbal tones, a distinct citrus aroma, and just a hint of oak. This wine is an excellent choice for lighter chicken, pork, and pasta dishes.

Easily recognized by its striking cobalt blue bottle, our Blû is a light, crisp, semi-sweet white wine that starts out smooth and ends with a crisp, refreshing finish. This fun, easy-drinking wine is a blend of Geisenheim and Seyval Blanc, and shows inviting flower and fruit overtones of violet, pear, and peach. Serve slightly chilled on a quiet summer afternoon with light picnic fare, or all by itself.
Blû received a bronze medal in the Mid-American Wine Competition July 2007.

Firefly, our version of blush wine, is extremely fun and fruity, with distinct aromas of strawberry and raspberry and just a hint of citrus. This easy-drinking wine is smooth from start to finish, making it a great casual wine. While it can be served with lighter foods, it’s best enjoyed with good conversation in the company of great friends.
Firefly received a gold medal and was a sweepstakes winner for blush wine in the Mid-American Wine Competition July 2007. |

| Our dry red wine, a blend of Chambourcin and Chancellor grapes, is a medium-bodied wine that shows off the deep purple color for which Chancellor is known. Aromas of roasted nuts, licorice, and green peppers make Hearthstone the ideal choice for curling up by the fireplace on a cold winter night, or for serving with rack of lamb or beef tenderloin.
Hearthstone was awarded the Dick Peterson trophy at the 2007 Mid-American Wine Competition. This award is given to the Best Iowa Wine in the competition. |

The first of our two new off dry white wines for 2008 is made exclusively from Iowa grown LaCrosse grapes. This light crisp wine has a slightly herbaceous tone of freshly mowed hay, mixed with the aromas of orange, grapefruit and linden. On the palate the balanced acidity allows the citrus fruit to shine through with an initial bite, followed by a deceptively smooth finish. Like our Amberglow this wine should be paired with lighter chicken, pork, and pasta dishes.
Iowa LaCrosse was awarded Gold in the LaCrosse Category at the 2008 Mid-American Wine Competition.
Iowa LaCrosse was awarded Bronze in the Red Snapper Varacruz Food Pairing Category at the 2008 Mid-American Wine Competition. |

This may be the most exciting wine to be released at Fireside Winery since our inception. Made exclusively from Iowa grown Vignoles grapes, this off dry white wine has a powerhouse of aroma from the minute the bottle is opened. The distinct aroma of Apricot is readily apparent at the first sniff, with hints of peach, apple, and pear rounding out the bouquet. Vignoles explodes on the palate with an array of fruit, finishing with hints of strawberry. We simply have not found anything that cannot be paired with this wine. Vignoles will be a limited release with just 125 cases available. For this reason it will only be available at Fireside Winery.
Iowa Vignoles was awarded Silver in the Vignoles Category at the 2008 Mid-American Wine Competition. |

A blend of Chambourcin Merlot grapes, this semi-sweet red wine has distinct aromas of cherry, blackberry, and black currant. A great wine for fireside conversations, this wine also pairs well with barbeque or with lighter meat dishes.

| This Chardonel varietal is our big, bold, full-bodied, dry white wine with well-balanced acidity. Four months of aging and fermentation in French oak barrels has helped nurture the smooth, buttery feel and taste for which Midnight Ember is known. This wine is best served with chicken or seafood with heavy, creamy sauces.

This Concord wine is sure to become a summertime favorite. Slightly sweet, this full-bodied wine has the aromatic bouquet and flavor for which Concord is famous, yet offers a different twist with a slightly dry finish. Chilled slightly, Serenade goes well with sandwiches and lunch fare, but like our Firefly, goes best with a circle of friends.
Serenade received a bronze medal in the Mid-American Wine Competition July 2007. |
